Establishes a Task Force on Computer Science Education comprised of 14 members including legislative appointees, teachers, school administrators, nonprofit representatives, and higher education officials.

Task Force charged with analyzing current state of computer science education in Illinois, reviewing laws and best practices in other jurisdictions, and making recommendations to the General Assembly.

Members serve without compensation but receive reimbursement for reasonable and necessary expenses and travel costs from State Board of Education appropriations.

Task Force must submit findings and recommendations report to the General Assembly no later than July 1, 2017, after which the Task Force is dissolved.

Section repeals on July 1, 2018, and the Act becomes effective upon enactment.
