• Establishes an optional license for service animal trainers that individuals may obtain but are not required to hold.

• Creates a statewide registry for all service animals that must be searchable online by the public.

• Defines "service animal" as a dog or miniature horse trained or being trained as a hearing animal, guide animal, assistance animal, seizure alert animal, mobility animal, psychiatric service animal, autism service animal, or animal trained for any other physical, mental, or intellectual disability.

• Authorizes the Department of Professional Regulation to adopt rules necessary to enforce and administer the service animal trainer licensing and registration requirements.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
