Alternative retail electric suppliers and alternative gas suppliers are prohibited from using the name or logo of a public utility in any marketing materials or in any materials that identify, label, or define their energy or power offers.

Alternative retail electric suppliers cannot use any identifying insignia, graphics, or wording that has been used to represent a public utility or its services.

Alternative gas suppliers cannot use any identifying insignia, graphics, or wording that has been used to represent a public utility, its parent company, or their energy offers.

The restrictions apply to all forms of marketing and promotional materials used by alternative suppliers.
