Permits school districts to contract with commercial driver training schools for driver education courses without needing State Board of Education waivers, provided a public hearing is held prior to contracting and the school verifies contractor licensing and instructor qualifications.

Requires school districts offering driver education through commercial contractors to notify the State Board of Education within 15 calendar days of any instructor changes and post the final contract on the district website or make it available upon request.
