IL HB6190

Renames the "Accelerated Resolution Court Act" to the "Accelerated Resolution Program Act" throughout the statute.

Expands eligible offenses to include traffic offenses (excluding fleeing/eluding peace officers, driving under the influence, and offenses causing bodily harm) and Class 4 felony violations of the Illinois Controlled Substances Act.

Removes the requirement to notify the Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County when referring defendants to the program.

Extends the program's repeal date from June 30, 2017 to June 30, 2019.

Removes the requirement for defendants released on their own recognizance to file written notice of address changes with the court clerk.
