Requires State Board of Education to establish a one-year transition period allowing school districts to administer college and career readiness examinations of their choice after any pre-existing contract with a testing provider expires.

Transition period applies when State Board enters into an agreement with a different entity to provide college and career readiness examinations for student application or admissions to Illinois public higher education institutions.

Transition period funding is subject to appropriation by the State Board of Education.

Effective immediately upon passage.
