Beginning January 1, 2017, General Assembly members receive no mileage reimbursement or allowance for travel to and from legislative sessions.

Beginning January 1, 2017, General Assembly members receive no allowance for lodging and meals while attending legislative sessions.

Members continue to receive base annual salary of $28,000 (or as set by Compensation Review Board, whichever is greater) plus additional compensation for leadership and committee positions.

Section 1.1 is clarified to apply only to instances where determination of member residence is relevant, removing specific reference to mileage computation.

Section 2 is amended to remove reference to "allowances and mileage" from the certification requirements for member compensation.
