IL HB6621

Adds Section 46 to the Video Gaming Act prohibiting public officers and public employees from soliciting, intimidating, or coercing licensed establishment owners to enter into video gaming contracts with specific operators.

Applies to establishments including licensed establishments, licensed veterans establishments, licensed truck stops, and licensed fraternal establishments.

Makes violation of this prohibition a Class 3 felony, with no defense based on whether the public officer or employee received monetary compensation or things of value.

Voids any contracts entered into in violation of this Section.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
