Urges the Illinois Department of Transportation to stock vending machines at state rest areas and welcome centers with healthy snack options.

Requires at least 2 healthy snacks containing less than 220 calories for every 10 snacks in vending machines at rest stops and welcome centers.

Applies to non-perishable pre-packaged food items only in vending machines across the state's 30 rest areas and 11 welcome centers.

Requests that a minimum of one healthy snack option be made in Illinois when feasible.

Directs copies of the resolution to be delivered to the Illinois Department of Transportation and the Illinois Department of Central Management Services.
