Designates the section of Illinois Route 47 from Spring Road to DuPont Road in Grundy County as the "Sheriff Terry Marketti Memorial Highway"

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation to erect plaques or signs at suitable locations marking the memorial highway in accordance with state and federal regulations

Honors Sheriff Terry Marketti (1956-2012), who served 35 years with the Grundy County Sheriff's Department and rose from Chief Deputy to Sheriff by appointment in March 2004

Recognizes Sheriff Marketti's service on the South Wilmington Village Board for 22 years and his involvement with numerous local charitable organizations and community boards

Notes Sheriff Marketti was instrumental in establishing a 911 dispatch center near the junction of Illinois Route 47 and Illinois Route 113 that saved countless lives
