Honors Officer Francis Scot Fitzgerald, who died on March 5, 2016, at age 32, after serving with the South Jacksonville Police Department and in multiple law enforcement and emergency service roles

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation erect appropriate plaques or signs at suitable locations to identify the memorial highway

Directs that copies of the resolution be presented to Officer Fitzgerald's family, the Department of Transportation Secretary, South Jacksonville Mayor, and the South Jacksonville Police Department
