Creates the Task Force on Modes of School Transportation for Elementary and Secondary Education to review state and federal law regarding student transportation methods.

Task Force consists of 20 members including the State Superintendent of Education (chair), Secretary of State, Secretary of Transportation, four legislative members, and representatives from education associations, school districts, and business organizations.

Task Force shall develop consistent information about legal transportation modes, including vehicle types, required equipment, allowed purposes, driver license requirements, and licensing and inspection standards.

Task Force must meet at least four times before September 1, 2017, and present legislative and administrative recommendations to legislative leaders by that date.

Members serve without compensation and the State Board of Education provides administrative support.
