Designates April 2015 as Child Abuse Prevention Month in Illinois

Calls upon citizens to increase participation in efforts to prevent child abuse and strengthen their communities

Recognizes child abuse as a community problem requiring involvement from courts, social service agencies, schools, religious organizations, law enforcement, and the business community

Highlights Parents Care + Share, a prevention program of Children's Home + Aid, and its Blue Bow Campaign to raise awareness about supporting families

Encourages all citizens to become more aware of child abuse, support parents in raising children safely, and help break the cycle of abuse
