Congratulates the Rochester High School Girls Soccer team (the Rockets) on winning the 2016 Class 2A State Soccer Championship.

Rochester Rockets defeated Deerfield High School 4-0 on June 4, 2016 at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium in Naperville, scoring twice in each half.

This is the Rockets' second consecutive state title and third in school history, following their 2015 Class 1A championship and 2008 championship win.

Team finished the season with a record of 25-2-1 under Head Coach Chad Kutscher and assistant coaches Brent Stuckey, Megan DeBarr, and Lauren Bushkill.

House directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to the team as official recognition of their championship achievement.
