Congratulates Elaine P. Edwards on her retirement from the Social Security Administration after 38 years of service beginning September 24, 1978.

Edwards held multiple positions during her career, including File Clerk, Cash Clerk, Accounting Technician, Lead Accounting Technician, Legal Admin. Specialist Benefit Authorizer, and Social Insurance Specialist - Claim Specialist (from February 2004 until retirement).

As a Social Insurance Specialist, Edwards made determinations on complex claims involving Retirement, Survivors, and Disability benefits and Medicare, including workers' compensation, hearing and appeals, and railroad issues.

Edwards received 16 Exemplary Contributions or Service Awards, five Recognition of Contribution Awards, four Quality Step Increases, a Regional Commissioner's Citation, six On the Spot Awards, a Hammer Award, and an Executive Recognition of Contribution.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Edwards as a symbol of esteem and respect.
