House of Representatives mourns the death of Andrew Bollman, who passed away on July 9, 2016

Bollman graduated from Walnut High School in 1994 and discovered a passion for photography while still in high school, photographing his first wedding at age 16

Attended Sauk Valley Community College and Augustana College (graduated 1998 with Bachelor of Arts in English), worked as a photojournalist for the Dixon Telegraph, and opened a photography studio in Sterling

Graduated from Northern Illinois University Law School in 2005, served as Assistant State's Attorney for Lee County, and later partnered with Bruce Keller to form Keller and Bollman law practice in 2015

Served on the Sauk Valley Community College Board of Trustees as board Chair and was appointed President of the Illinois Community College Trustees Association for 2015-2016; married Rochelle Monteith in 2006 and had a son, Asher, in 2010
