Designates November 3, 2016 as Construction Craft Day in Illinois to promote awareness of construction trade careers and workforce development opportunities.

Acknowledges the Manufacture/Craft Your Future campaign's efforts to present construction career information to chambers of commerce, Rotary Clubs, school districts, teachers, guidance counselors, students, and parents in St. Clair, Madison, and Monroe Counties.

Recognizes the annual metro construction career expo held by the Southern Illinois Builders Association and Southern Illinois Construction Advancement Program in Belleville to address workforce shortages in the construction industry.

Notes that thousands of construction industry workers will retire in coming years, creating numerous job openings that require educating current and future workers about well-paid construction careers.

Directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to the Southern Illinois Builders Association CEO, Donna Richter.
