Honors the life and legacy of Rolando Juan Correa, born in Manati, Puerto Rico and raised in Chicago, who overcame urban obstacles with an ASPIRA scholarship for higher education.

Recognizes Correa's military service as a door gunner in Vietnam protecting medical evacuation helicopters and his civic contributions including managing one of Chicago's first Latino voter registration campaigns and bringing las fiestas patronales to Humboldt Park in 1980.

Credits Correa with 43+ combined years of service as co-founder, staff member, and Board member of Rincon Family Services, serving as Executive Director from 2005 and President and CEO from 2013.

Notes that under Correa's leadership, Rincon's budget, staffing, and community presence more than doubled in three years, expanding programs including Community Health Promotoras, Intact Family Recovery, Drive Safe Coalition, HIV Early Intervention, reEntry services, DUI services, and mental health treatment.

Acknowledges Correa's development of comprehensive in-home care services for elderly Latino populations and his dedication to vulnerable communities; survived by wife Graciela of 44 years, two children, and five grandchildren.
