Congratulates the people of the Republic of China (Taiwan) on the celebration of their 105th National Day

Acknowledges that National Day, also known as Double Ten Day, commemorates the Wuchang Uprising of October 10, 1911, which led to the establishment of the Republic of China (Taiwan) on January 1, 1912, with Dr. Sun Yat-sen as first president

Recognizes that National Day celebrations include military reviews, national parades, fireworks displays, a National Day concert, and a Presidential Address

Describes Taiwan as a beacon of democratic governance and integrity for Asia and the world

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to the Director-General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago
