Welcomes the Most Reverend Dr. Foley Beach to Central Illinois during his visit for the 139th Synod of the Diocese of Quincy on October 20-22, 2016

Recognizes Archbishop Beach's service as Rector and Pastor of Holy Cross Anglican Church in Loganville, Georgia since 2004, as the first Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of the South (2010), and as the second Archbishop of the Anglican Church in North America since 2014

Acknowledges Archbishop Beach's ministry work including a weekly broadcast "A Word from the Lord," partnerships with Christian denominations, and support for parish ministries serving the poor, homeless, and orphans

Notes that under Archbishop Beach's leadership, the Anglican Church in North America grew to nearly 1,000 churches with 1,700 clergy members and over 350 missionaries, and was declared a Partner Province of the Global South in 2015

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Archbishop Beach as an expression of esteem and respect
