Kenneth Michael Beasley passed away on October 16, 2016; he was born November 19, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri to parents Sam and Norma Jean McClure.

Worked as a concrete finisher with OPCMIA Local #90 for 30 years and served four terms as Mayor of the Village of South Roxana.

Served the Village of South Roxana as Building and Zoning Inspector, trustee for the South Roxana Fire Protection District, and reserve police officer; co-owned "Debbie's Market" and volunteered fixing potholes and pouring concrete for village projects.

Survived by his wife of 35 years Deborah; five children (Brit Beasley, Chris Williams, Kevin Beasley, David Davis, Donnie Davis, and Renee Reader); 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Illinois House of Representatives mourns his passing and directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of sympathy.
