Notes that students with documented disabilities and homeless youth are more likely to be chronically absent from school

Highlights that family involvement and regular school attendance correlate with better graduation rates, lower suspension rates, positive student behaviors, and improved college and career readiness

Directs that copies of the resolution be delivered to the Illinois State Board of Education and Regional Offices of Education
