Congratulates the Hinsdale Central High School Boys Golf Team (Red Devils) on winning their fifth consecutive State championship in 2016, a record for Class 3A Boys Golf.

Team won the State championship on October 14-15, 2016 at The Den at Fox Creek golf course in Bloomington with a two-day score of 593 strokes, 25 strokes ahead of second place.

Brendan O'Reilly won the individual State championship with a score of 142 (two under par), winning by five strokes; Matt Wingren placed 7th All-State with a score of 149.

Additional team members: Josh Lundmark (11th place, 151), Gabe Larson (32nd place, 157), Mac McClear (40th place, 158), and Jack Hoiberg (58th place, 162).

Head Coach Jess Krueger and Assistant Coach Jim Horan led the team to this achievement.
