Recognizes the Plainfield Township Park District on the occasion of its 50th anniversary in 2016.

Commemorates the establishment of the Park District on October 22, 1966, with the first Board of Commissioners consisting of Robert Anderson, Frederick Hagerman, Duane Maas, Charles Stansberry Jr., and Joseph Rutten.

Notes that the District has expanded to encompass more than 43 square miles, serves over 100,000 people, and manages 91 parks on approximately 1,300 acres with facilities including 65 playgrounds, two skate parks, three dog parks, 17 basketball courts, and various sports fields.

Acknowledges the District's financial stewardship with a AA bond rating from Standard and Poor's and over $8 million in awarded grant funding since 2006.

A time capsule was buried on October 22, 2016, at Gregory B. Bott Community Park to be opened in 2066 during the District's 100th anniversary.
