Credits Paesel with securing tens of millions of dollars in grant funding for SSMMA member municipalities and their collective 700,000 citizens during his tenure.

Acknowledges Paesel's appointments to various boards and committees including METRA Board of Directors, Cook County Workforce Investment Board, and Chicago Metropolitan Agency on Planning.
