Private First Class Tyler Lubelt of Tamaroa died on November 12, 2016, at age 20 from injuries sustained while serving at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan.

PFC Lubelt graduated from Tamaroa Grade School in 2011 and Pinckneyville Community High School in 2015, and enlisted in the United States Army shortly after high school graduation.

PFC Lubelt was deployed to Afghanistan two months before his death with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, First Special Troops Battalion, First Sustainment Brigade, First Cavalry Division based at Fort Hood, Texas, in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel.

PFC Lubelt is survived by his wife Shelby, infant daughter Violet, parents Loquosto and Charlotte Lubelt, and family and friends in Southern Illinois.

The Illinois House of Representatives expresses its condolences to PFC Lubelt's family and directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family.
