Private First Class Tyler Iubelt of Tamaroa died on November 12, 2016, at age 20 from injuries sustained while serving at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan.

PFC Iubelt graduated from Tamaroa Grade School in 2011 and Pinckneyville Community High School in 2015 before enlisting in the U.S. Army.

He was deployed to Afghanistan two months prior to his death with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, First Special Troops Battalion, First Sustainment Brigade, First Cavalry Division based at Fort Hood, Texas.

PFC Iubelt is survived by his wife Shelby, infant daughter Violet, parents Loquosto and Charlotte Iubelt, and family and friends in Southern Illinois.

The Illinois House of Representatives mourns his death and extends condolences to his family and loved ones, with a copy of the resolution to be presented to his family.
