Honors State Representative Eddie Lee Jackson Sr. for his dedicated service to Illinois and the 114th Representative District.

Recognizes Jackson's career as an educator, including roles as teacher at East St. Louis Senior High School, principal at Clark Junior High School, and principal of A.M. Jackson Math and Science Academy, where the gifted program received statewide recognition.

Notes Jackson's appointment to the House of Representatives in January 2009 following his retirement from the school district and the death of State Representative Wyvetter H. Younge.
