Congratulates La Grange Police Chief Renee Strasser on her retirement effective January 1, 2017

Recognizes her 27-year career with the La Grange Police Department, beginning as a patrol officer in 1989 and advancing to Sergeant (1999), Lieutenant (2009), and Deputy Chief (2014)

Notes her attendance at the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia in 2011 and her master's degree in management and organizational development from Benedictine University

Acknowledges her background growing up on Chicago's South Side and her education at Indiana State University where she majored in criminology and psychology on an athletic scholarship

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Chief Strasser as an expression of esteem and respect from the Illinois House of Representatives
