Allows courts to accept photographs, photostat copies, or photocopies of U.S. currency used in undercover law enforcement investigations as competent evidence in prosecutions where imprisonment is an available sentence.

Requires that photographic evidence clearly show the nature of the currency and either all individual serial numbers (if under $500) or serial numbers of a 10% sample (if exceeding $500), plus any identification marks placed by law enforcement.

Requires photographic evidence to comply with federal law and regulations regarding photographs of U.S. currency and meet all other applicable rules for admissibility of photographic evidence.

Eliminates the requirement to establish that introducing actual currency is impractical due to size, weight, or unavailability before accepting photographic substitutes as evidence.

Permits admissible photographs, copies, or photocopies to be introduced in place of actual currency and given the same evidentiary weight as the physical currency itself.
