Amends Section 16-118 of the Illinois Pension Code regarding retirement annuities for teachers.

Allows retired teachers (non-disability annuitants) to accept employment as teachers without losing retirement status, subject to annual hour and day limits that vary by period.

Establishes employment limits: 100 days or 500 hours before July 1, 2001; 120 days or 600 hours from July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2011; 100 days or 500 hours from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2016; and 120 days or 600 hours beginning July 1, 2016.

Counts one workday as 5 hours when employment combines daily and hourly compensation.

Exempts annuitants participating in the teacher return-to-work program under Section 16-150.1 from these employment restrictions during their participation.
