IL SB1412

Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code to add Section 5-35 regarding personal needs allowances for medical assistance recipients.

Requires the State to supplement the federal minimum monthly personal needs allowance for eligible residents in facilities licensed under the ID/DD Community Care Act or Community-Integrated Living Arrangements Licensure and Certification Act.

Ensures that residents receiving payments throughout a month have a total monthly personal needs allowance of $60 from combined State and federal sources.

Implementation is subject to appropriation by the State.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
