IL SB1470

Amends the Illinois Municipal Code to allow a budget officer to hold another municipal office, including mayor or president in municipalities with populations under 10,000.

Permits budget officers to receive compensation for multiple offices, except when a mayor or president in a municipality under 10,000 people serves as the budget officer.

Clarifies that the prohibition on municipal officers holding multiple offices does not apply to budget officers designated under the municipal budget code provisions.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
