Amends Illinois Vehicle Code Section 11-1414.1 regarding school transportation of students in grades 12 and below for curriculum-related activities.

Allows students in grades 9-12 to be transported in multi-function school activity buses (MFSAB) instead of traditional school buses for curriculum-related activities, except for regular home-to-school or school-to-home routes.

Expands MFSAB eligibility to include students in grades K-12 with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) with a 1-to-5 staff-to-student ratio attending specified schools: Acacia Academy, Alexander Leigh, Marklund, Helping Hands Center, Connections Organization, or New Horizon Academy.

Requires MFSAB drivers to hold a valid school bus driver permit and comply with existing vehicle code requirements for equipment, safety inspections, and driver qualifications.

Maintains requirement that students transported for interscholastic, athletic, or noncurriculum-related school activities must use school buses, with exception for second division vehicles used in parades or homecoming events.
