• Board must develop and submit a comprehensive report within 12 months of its first meeting with recommendations on certification processes, curriculum standards, and training programs for music therapists in Illinois

• Report shall address best practices, multi-tiered education options, reimbursement pathways, and coordination with the American Music Therapy Association and Certification Board for Music Therapists

• Board shall advise state agencies on matters impacting music therapist services and public education regarding music therapy benefits and licensure
