IL SB1706

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to allow licensed motor vehicle dealers to conduct sales on Sundays if the dealer observes a religious day of worship other than Sunday.

Modifies the definition of "off site sale" to exclude Sundays from the 7-calendar-day period, except for dealers observing a non-Sunday religious day of worship.

Removes the prohibition on off site sale permits authorizing vehicle sales on Sundays, allowing such sales for qualifying religious observers.

Applies the Sunday sales exemption to dealers at established or additional places of business, as well as those participating in off site sales and trade show exhibitions.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
