Records relating to juvenile victims or juvenile defendants that are exempt under law enforcement exemptions remain permanently exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.

All other law enforcement records exempt under the act shall be made available for inspection and copying after 5 years from the date the record is created, unless otherwise exempt under another provision.

Adds new exemption for information or materials whose disclosure would violate a Supreme Court Rule.

Effective immediately upon becoming law.
