Grants victims the right to request disclosure of evidence collected during investigation, with estimated disclosure dates if release would interfere with prosecution.

Provides victims the right to request information about the status of evidence analysis and notification of DNA database comparison results, with estimated disclosure dates if necessary to protect the investigation.

Entitles victims to counseling regarding AIDS and HIV infection upon request, and allows victims to undergo testing for AIDS, HIV, and related infections.

Guarantees victims the right to a forensic medical examination within 96 hours of the offense if reported to law enforcement or conducted at a health care facility, with victims able to designate a representative to receive notices and required to maintain current contact information with prosecutors and law enforcement.
