IL SB2251

Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code to add Section 5-35 regarding personal needs allowances for residents in certain licensed facilities.

Applies to residents in facilities licensed under the ID/DD Community Care Act, Community-Integrated Living Arrangements Licensure and Certification Act, or MC/DD Act who receive payments throughout a month and are eligible for medical assistance.

Requires the State to supplement the federal minimum monthly personal needs allowance so that residents' total monthly personal needs allowance from both State and federal sources equals $60.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
