IL SB2282

Amends Section 3-3-7 of the Unified Code of Corrections to modify conditions of parole, mandatory supervised release, and aftercare release imposed by the Prisoner Review Board.

Adds exception to the requirement that parolees not knowingly associate with other persons on parole/release without permission, allowing associations related to community programs, worship services, volunteering, and family engagement activities.

Maintains mandatory conditions for parolees including no firearm possession, reporting to supervising agents, submitting to searches, drug testing, and compliance with orders of protection and other statutory requirements.

Establishes specific conditions for sex offenders including electronic monitoring, treatment requirements, internet access restrictions, social media prohibitions, restrictions on contact with minors, and geographic limitations.

Requires written communication of all release conditions to the person prior to release, with signed acknowledgment retained by both the parolee and supervising officer.
