IL SB2347

Adds forfeiture of property provisions to crimes of indecent solicitation of a child, grooming, and traveling to meet a minor under the Criminal Code of 2012.

Allows law enforcement agencies to retain seized computers and forfeited money before distribution to support training, equipment, and investigation needs of the agency's child exploitation unit.

Permits seized computers to be recommissioned for official agency use or destroyed, and prohibits courts from ordering law enforcement to return computers to defendants.

Expands the Code of Criminal Procedure forfeiture article (124B) to include violations of Sections 11-6, 11-25, and 11-26 (indecent solicitation, grooming, and traveling to meet a minor).

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
