IL SB2528

Amends Section 500-65 of the Illinois Insurance Code regarding temporary insurance producer licenses.

Lowers the threshold for the Director of Insurance to refuse temporary licenses from 50% to 25% when more than that percentage of an insurance company's temporary license holders fail to obtain permanent licenses within a 6-month period.

Maintains existing requirements that temporary licenses are valid for 90 days and applicants must be enrolled in training courses and fulfill pre-licensing requirements during that period.

Continues the restriction that individual applicants may hold only one temporary insurance producer license in their lifetime.
