IL SB2533

Amends the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act to add an administrative services officer position appointed by the executive director with board consent.

The administrative services officer serves under direct supervision of the executive director and is subject to the same removal and vacancy procedures as other appointed officers.

Exempts the administrative services officer from classified civil service employment requirements, along with other specified executive and administrative positions.

Effective January 1, 2017.
