Cultivation centers registered on or after the effective date may not be located within 2,500 feet of a pre-existing playground, defined as land owned or controlled by a unit of local government designated for children's recreation.

Dispensing organizations registered on or after the effective date may not be located within 1,000 feet of a pre-existing playground using the same definition.

Maintains existing restrictions on cultivation centers (2,500 feet from schools and day care facilities) and dispensing organizations (1,000 feet from schools and day care facilities).

Applies only to facilities first registered after the bill's effective date, grandfathering in previously registered centers and organizations.
