Amends Section 111-4 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 regarding joinder of offenses and defendants in criminal charges.

Allows multiple offenses to be charged in the same indictment if they are based on the same act or are part of the same comprehensive transaction.

Permits multiple defendants to be charged together if they participated in the same act or comprehensive transaction, whether in the same or separate counts.

Adds Section 29B-1 of the Criminal Code to the list of offenses that can be charged as a single offense in one count when multiple acts or transactions are committed in furtherance of a single intention and design or involve property, labor, or services of the same person or persons with a common interest.

Allows the period between the first and final acts or transactions to be alleged as the offense date, and permits the county where any act occurred to be alleged as the county of the offense.
