Increases the criminal damage to property threshold from $300 to $500 for misdemeanor and felony classifications across Sections 21-1, 21-1.2, and 21-1.3 of the Criminal Code of 2012.

Class A misdemeanor for criminal damage applies when property damage does not exceed $500 (previously $300) for paragraphs (1), (2), (3), (5), or (6).

Class 4 felony charges for institutional vandalism now apply when damage does not exceed $500 (previously $300), and Class 2 felony applies when damage exceeds $500.

Class A misdemeanor for criminal defacement of property applies for first offense when damage does not exceed $500 (previously $300); Class 4 felony applies when damage to school buildings or places of worship does not exceed $500.

All felony thresholds above $500 remain unchanged, maintaining the existing penalty structure for higher-value property damage.
