• Eliminates the "Licensed Public Applicator" classification and consolidates public sector pesticide applicators under the "Commercial Not For Hire Applicator" category, effective for employees of state agencies, municipalities, and other governmental units.

• Implements multi-year licensing for applicators and dealers certified in 2018 and thereafter, valid for 3 calendar years (the year issued plus 2 additional years) instead of annual licensing, with corresponding fee increases.

• Increases license fees: commercial applicators from $60 annually to $180 for the 3-year multi-year period; commercial not-for-hire from $20 annually to $60 for the multi-year period; operators and dealers experience proportional fee increases.

• Allows employers to request transfer of unused license term to newly certified replacements for terminated employees upon payment of a $10 transfer fee, with the new license expiring on the original license's expiration date.

• Increases duplicate license fees from $5 to $10 and maintains existing requirements for financial responsibility, recertification every 3 years, and competence demonstration for all applicator types.
