IL SB2923

Amends the Property Tax Code to modify the deadline for Cook County to file applications for judgment and order of sale on delinquent properties.

Establishes that Cook County must file such applications within 365 days after the second installment due date for tax year 2014 and each tax year thereafter (replacing previous specific dates of May 1, 2016 for tax year 2014 and March 1, 2017 for tax year 2015).

Maintains the existing 90-day deadline after the second installment due date for counties with fewer than 3,000,000 inhabitants.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
