Amends the Criminal Code of 2012 to redefine "emergency medical services personnel" to mean all personnel as specified in Section 3.5 of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Systems Act, including all ambulance crew members (drivers and pilots), replacing the previous narrower definition.

Updates aggravated assault provisions (Section 12-2) to reference the new "emergency medical services personnel" definition for cases involving assault against such personnel performing official duties or assaulted to prevent/retaliate for performance of duties.

Updates aggravated battery provisions (Section 12-3.05) to reference the new "emergency medical services personnel" definition for cases involving battery against such personnel.

Updates aggravated discharge of firearm provisions (Sections 24-1.2 and 24-1.2-5) to replace lengthy enumerated titles of EMS workers with the single term "emergency medical services personnel" as defined in the EMS Systems Act.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
