IL SB2953

Amends the Criminal Code of 2012 to add home repair fraud and aggravated home repair fraud to the list of offenses for which vessels, vehicles, or aircraft can be seized and impounded when used with the owner's knowledge and consent.

Allows law enforcement to seize a vessel, vehicle, or aircraft used in the commission of home repair fraud (Section 3 of the Home Repair Fraud Act) or aggravated home repair fraud (Section 5 of the Home Repair Fraud Act).

Applies existing seizure and forfeiture procedures already established for other serious crimes (murder, sexual assault, robbery, burglary, arson, weapons violations, DUI, and others) to home repair fraud offenses.
